It’s National News Literacy Week, and the News Literacy Project has a downloadable Activity Planner for educators, resources for families, and more to help students separate fact from fiction.

These NewsWise resources for educators from The Guardian Foundation help students aged 7-11 build critical literacy skills through news-based lesson plans and activities. There are also NewsWise resources for families.

NewseumEd provides media literacy lesson plans that focus on the importance of a free press and the First Amendment.

The Poynter Institute's MediaWise initiative teaches fact-checking and media literacy skills through videos, courses, and social media content for audiences from teens to seniors.
