⛷️ WHAT TO WATCH THIS WEEK:
🐰🐰 April 1st is known for its tricks, but theories behind its origins are usually related to spring traditions, including France’s Poisson d'Avril, in which those who fall for the trick are easily caught April fish.
TKSST is short on tricks (except for these kinds), but we have a lot of spring-themed videos, including this ‘plucky’ songbird and snoozing fox, spawning herring, Cherry blossoms over Tokyo’s Meguro River by drone, Tadpoles: The Big Little Migration, A Forest Year seasonal time-lapse, Spring, an epic 4K flower time lapse that took 3 years to make, and many more.
Plus, Earth Day is coming up. Don’t miss TKSST’s sustainability video collection, Subject To Climate’s Teaching Resources, and PBS Wisconsin Education’s Gaylord Nelson and how Earth Day got started.
Finally, special thanks to IXL—this week’s newsletter sponsor—which provides K-12 adaptive curriculum tools that are used by over 17 million students. Along with TKSST Members, our daily and weekly newsletter sponsors help us keep TKSST.com ad-free.
Happy springtime exploring, both on and offline. Wishing you a safe and sound April. - Rion
