🦉 WHAT TO WATCH THIS WEEK:
🔭 When we lived in London in 2009, we visited Greenwich Park a few times, running across the grass with our toddler and walking along the historic Prime Meridian line, where the Eastern and Western Hemispheres meet. Though it’s now included in the Royal Observatory’s ticket price, you can still see a humble dash of the Greenwich Meridian just outside the park for free.
The fancy one inside the observatory courtyard, however, is well-annotated, and your ticket fee goes to the Royal Museums Greenwich, likely supporting the observatory’s excellent video explainers.
A bunch of ROG animations are on TKSST. Don’t miss Newton’s Three Laws of Motion, Space Rocks, Where does Space begin?, What is light?, and the sun-themed video shared below. They’re all fantastic.

🎒 Edutopia: 19 Highly Engaging End-of-Year Activities: “Teachers can help students end the year on a high note with activities that remind them how much they’ve learned in class.”
Finally, I’m thrilled TKSST is sponsored by Nautilus this week. I featured one of their videos 8 years ago, and have enjoyed their work ever since. - Rion
